We participated in the International tESA Conference on May 10–11, 2025. The venue was the charming and lush Hoton. The meeting of equine shiatsu practitioners was truly fruitful and multilayered. We will be drawing from this experience for a long time. The energetic encounters—with both people and horses—were deeply meaningful.
We had the opportunity to follow Neill Saunders’ body whispering and to practice new techniques with him and the horses. I learned a lot from his way of reading what kind of treatment a horse needs – whether on a visceral, vascular, or fascial level. I gained excellent tools to support my shiatsuing.
It was astonishing how we were able to bring about change by directing our thoughts toward the necessary adjustments in a healing and balancing way – with only the lightest touch. I realized how important it is to engage the mind more actively in shiatsu as well.
On the second day, Liz Eddy guided us through pandiculation stretches and somatic exercises. We also explored how Quantum Touch can be integrated with shiatsu and the healing power of breath. We had the chance to try out new techniques with horses.

The conference was a success. Lots of healing energy for the benefit of horses. Many thanks to all participants. Looking forward to the next one.
